Terms of service<\/h5><\/div>

Software provided “as is” and is delivered under the GPL-3.0 license beyond which there is no warranty.<\/p>\n

By using the kiwix.org website and its related features, including the Imager Service and Kiwix Hotspot OS (the \u201cServices\u201d) and other services provided by Kiwix, you agree to be bound by the following terms of service (the \u201cTerms\u201d). These Terms cover all present and future features provided by Kiwix. The Services are operated by Association Kiwix. Use of our website or applications, or making use of our online services. By using these Services, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms every time you use these Services.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

1. Users of the Services<\/h5><\/div>

The Services are provided exclusively to persons or legal entities. Accounts registered by \u201cbots\u201d or automated methods are not authorised and will be terminated. Each user is solely responsible for all actions performed through the Services.<\/p>\n

If you agree to these Terms on behalf of a company or another legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity, its affiliates, and all users who access the Services through your Account to these Terms. In the absence of such an authority, you are not authorised to use the Services.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

2. Inactive accounts<\/h5><\/div>

Kiwix reserves the right to delete inactive imager accounts that are older than 12 months.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

3. Limited warranty and liabilities<\/h5><\/div>

Kiwix does not make any warranty about the reliability of the Services or the security of user data, despite best efforts. Any Service is provided \u201cas is\u201d and \u201cas available,\u201d without warranty of any kind, either express or implied.<\/p>\n

The total liability of Kiwix for any reason whatsoever arising out of or related to the use of, or inability to use, any Service provided by it, shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any.<\/p>\n

Nothing in these Terms of Service should be construed as granting, by implication or otherwise, any license or right to use any of the Kiwix Trademarks without our prior written permission in each instance.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

5. Content responsibility<\/span><\/h5><\/div>

Kiwix is a platform for sharing existing content and cannot be held liable for what other websites have published, including the accuracy of content. All is shared according to the source license.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

6. How donations are used<\/h5><\/div>

We assign spending based on needs and only for the purpose of furthering our mission of providing free educational content, as defined in our statutes. Donations are non-refundable. If you need a receipt (for instance for tax purposes), please send an email to hello@kiwix.org indicating the full name and email address you used when making your donation(s). 7. Applicable law<\/span><\/h5><\/div>
